The largest share of the grapes making up this dark red blend come from the warm grape growing region of Contra Costa County. Here the vines are planted in deep sandy soils and experience warm days and cool night, with limited rainfall. These conditions are ideal for ripening Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouschet, producing a dark, rich and complex wine.
Cashmere Black is a big, full-bodied, complex red wine. Blackberry, and mocha aromas are followed by bold flavors of dark berries, coffee and mocha, which lead to a smooth mouth filling finish.
